Biographical Sketch:
I am an ecologists who specializes in studying invertebrates of conservation and management concern. I was trained in aquatic ecology and I also work with pollinators. I collect and maintain information on invertebrates of management concern, and I work in a variety of ecosystems. I enjoy analyzing data, learning new skills, writing, brainstorming and working with students. I enjoy the diversity of projects that I work ranging from the life cycle of native mussels, insect pollinators of rare plants, bioassessment of rivers using aquatic invertebrates, monitoring rare stoneflies in glacier-fed streams, how herbicide treatments alter pollinators, the relationship between ungulate density and nesting bees and many others. I working with agencies to collect relevant information to inform management decisions through both the RM- and GP-CESUs frequently.
