Biographical Sketch:

Mark Golkowski received his B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Stanford University. Dr. Golkowski is currently Department Chair and Professor at the University of Colorado Denver in the Department of Electrical Engineering. He was previously Associate Dean of Education and Student Success in the College of Engineering, Design and Computing and Honorary Civilian Commander of Space Force Delta 4. Dr. Golkowski has been a recipient of an NSF CAREER Award as well as a number of grants from NSF, NASA, and the Department of Defense. He teaches and actively conducts research on electromagnetic waves in plasmas, ionospheric physics, near-Earth space physics, and biomedical applications of gas discharge plasmas.
